Dog Day Afternoon is a masterpiece of contemporary commentary. Al Pacino once again proves himself to be in the front rank of America's finest actors. Director Sidney Lumet scores high with masterful pacing and real suspense. This is an offbeat drama about a gay man who's involved in bank robbing. Highly recommended.
